A lifting device with round thread does not fit in a lifting anchor with sharp thread (M). On the other hand a lifting device with sharp thread fits in both an anchor with sharp or round thread.
A practical disadvantage of working with a 'round thread lifting anchor system' lies in the fact that lifting anchors with sharp thread (such as e.g. 4010) can also used be used as coupling or fixing anchor. When use is made of lifting anchors with round thread (supplementary) use as a coupling or fixing anchor is not recommended. |
